With 34 years'
experience in valuation and property tax administration, Henry Riley is
an ad valorem services consultant specializing in real property tax
policy, valuation, standards and systems. He is also an Appraisal
Qualifications Board-certified instructor for the Uniform Standards of
Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), and teaches appraisal
standards, real estate appraisal, and ad valorem administration. As
member of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO),
Henry serves on the USPAP and Regulations Committee and represents IAAO
on the Appraisal Foundation Advisory Council. In addition, he is an IAAO
senior
national instructor in real estate appraisal and mass appraisal.
Specializing in
automated real property systems, Henry has managed the development and
installation of an integrated real property system that includes
state-of-the-art applications for land records management, computer
assisted mass appraisal (CAMA), real property assessment and tax
administration, financial accounting, geographic information systems
(GIS), and an interactive Internet site.
He received the
Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE) professional appraisal designation
from IAAO and is a certified general real estate appraiser.
